This is a great cool weather jacket, although I agree that it has the lightness of a shirt jacket versus a true denim jacket. It's definitely more of a fashion statement. I already have a collection of "heavy" denim, so this one was refreshing. It's slim-fitting for those of us who are thin or athletic types. The metal buttons make this jacket really stand out. Best to be worn open and not buttoned up all the way. Yes, it runs small as most european styles do for us Americans. I'm a medium but have learned to order large with Diesel tops. Since I got it at a deep discount and not full price, I'm very pleased with it.
